[Shadeshi_Bondhu] 'Vote for Sundarbans, Cox's Bazar from cyber café for free'

Banglalink and Cyber Café Owners' Association of Bangladesh (CCOAB)

jointly launched a programme of voting for new7wonders of nature from
cyber cafes.

Under the programme 250 cyber cafés across the country will provide
free services to people to vote for selecting the new7wonders of
nature.

The programme was launched at a ceremony at Dhaka Reporters' Unity in
the city yesterday.

Speaking as the chief guest at the launching ceremony Bangladesh
Parjatan Corporation Chairman Shafique Alam Mehdi urged all
organisations to come forward to put the Sundarbans and Cox's Bazar
on the top of the list.

Tourism sector would flourish if the biggest mangrove forest
Sundarbans and the longest sea beach in the world Cox's Bazar are
placed on the top of the list, Shafique said adding that it will also
play a significant role in the economy with the arrival of increased
number of tourists.

Banglalink PR and Communication Manager Sharfuddin Ahmed Chowdhury
informed that to make the Internet facilities available they would
provide one computer to each cyber café.

He also informed that Banglalink is making a documentary on Cox's
Bazar to raise people's awareness for voting.
