Activities of "Aggan Party" (unconscious party) have increased in recent time across the country. Just to share an incident happened on last Monday:

 

A group of 3 people (all relatives to each other) got on board a Dhaka bound bus from Gazipur Chourasta at 10 in the morning. One of them was carrying BDT 100,000 to deposit to a travel agent to go to Singapore with a job.

 

A hawker got on board the bus and started selling chocolates amongst the passengers. They bought and ate some chocolates. Then they became unconscious and could not recollect anything else happened afterwards.

 

The bus driver left them in unconscious condition on the footpath in front of Palton police station and they remained there for about two hours after which police took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. When they got their sense back they found that all their money and mobile phones were gone.

 

Be aware of Aggan Party activities and the consequences when traveling around. Following points may be of some help:

 

1. Remain alert when you are in bus/taxi/launch/railway stations.
2. Do not take any food item/drinks from any unknown person.

3.  Carry your business card/ID card
