Waking up in a bed
No one to keep you warm
And the tears you shed
No one to keep you calm
And you wanna break bread
No one in the early morn
Through life's raging storm,
You've got to go on

You've been hurt and you don't wanna be hurt again
Now you're calling loneliness friend
Somehow in the depths of your soul
You wish it weren't so
Loneliness got to go
But can you ever trust again
A rock and a hard place your pain

Everyone wants Mr. or Mrs. Right
Seems life is a pitch black night
And your true love is out of sight
You're left with an internal fight
