[Shadeshi_Bondhu] Free and permanent access to scholastic publications

How many times you have tried to access and download a journal paper and found that the paper is not available free?

This is open source type version of scholastic publication where authors upload their abstracts and publications / papers to a database. Many of the papers are free by default. You can see / read the abstracts directly. To download the papers you have to register your name (free) and sign-up into the network in order to download the papers.

If a paper is not fully free, a good thing about this database is that you have a direct contact with the authors who may allow you to access the papers personally - even if it is generally not freely available.

I should also mention that it is focused on the social sciences disciplines. If you know other similar databases in other disciplines, please share it with us.
